# Action required: Turn on the app embed

Activating the app extension in the theme settings is now a mandatory step post-installation. 

Failure to do so will result in the absence of any visible pixel firing on your website.

**Step 1:** Go to your Shopify store => Theme => Customize

**Step 2:** Turn on the app embed as the screenshot below and don't forget to click **Save** on the right corner

That is all, your pixel(s) are ready to work!
